For a long time now Smyths Bar has been the name in Limerick that is associated with great value service and a top class night out. When we opened with a bang 9 years ago we took the Limerick pub scene by storm. Never had there been a pub like it in the city and to this day Smyths is still the number one venue for everyone in Limerick.

 Why is Smyths the number one venue you ask? Simple. We like to give something back to the customer and have been doing this since the doors opened.

We have live music here 6 nights a week and there is no cover charge on the door to see some of the best bands from all around the country! Names like Big Generator, Blue Moose and Free beer are just some of the top class acts that play here. Midweek in Limerick used to be a dreary affair with nothing to draw you into town. Now Smyths is hopping and you can come in and watch some great bands again with no cover charge!

So your sorted for music when you get here but thats not all. We have pioneered some of the best deals which other venues around the country have followed. The legendary 5 4 €15 bucket deal is a firm favorite, you can get 5 bottles of your choice served in a bucket filled with ice to keep your drinks chilled. We did not rest with that though, some people prefer draft beer so we came up with our pitchers of beer or cider for only €10. There is over 3 pints in the pitcher and the special pitchers we imported have a cooling chamber that is filled with ice to keep you drink cold.

During the day when you drop into Smyths the transformation from rocking night time venue to one of the finest places to eat in the city. Our chefs rustle up some of the nicest food I have ever tasted and we have a menu to suit all tastes. Our carvery runs until 3pm and then its our A La Carte menu until 6. If you dont fancy a full dinner we have a full sandwich bar and our helpful staff will try and make any requests you have a reality.

Our great offers arent just at night either. We do a value buster meal during the day where you can get selected meals from the carvery and a mineral for just €9.45. Our A La Carte menu also has different specials every day. Make sure you leave room for desert though because it really is a treat here at Smyths.
